How to Make Henna Cones / Membuat Henna Cone

Cones allow for precision control and fine, accurate lines.

ID--Dengan menggunakan cone, presisi dan keakuratan desain bisa di control.


If you are using mylar tissue, keep hands moisturized, as you can not roll tissue mylar if the humidity is low and your hands are dry, too much static electricity makes the tissue unmanageable.

ID--Jika menggunakan mylar tissue, usahakan tangan lembab, sehingga mudah untuk menggulung. Jika tangan kering akan timbul listrik statis sehingga susah utk menggulung nya. 






Step 1
1. Assemble tools and supplies / Yg diperlukan 

Floraphane / Cellophane / Mylar / Basket Wrap. 
The thicker the product, the easier the conemaking.
Semakin tebal bahan yg digunakan semakin gampang membuat nya

Scissors
Gunting

Tape 
Isolasi 

Rotary cutter and mat if you have them
Cutter dan tempat utk memotong jika punya


Little rubber bands
Karet gelang kecil/ bisa gunakan isolasi

Long pointy item, chopstick, skewer
Benda panjang berujung kecil, spt supit atau obeng

Step 2

2. Cut mylar / floraphane / cello wrap into 6x7 inch rectangles OR triangels
we prefer rectangles as they have an extra layer of material when rolled into the cone that helps to prevent leaks.

Potong mylar / floraphane / cello wrap menjadi 6x7 inch bentuk segiempat atau segitiga, baiknya bentuk segiempat krn akan ada extra area yg ketika digulung menjadi cone akan mencegah kebocoran.

Step 3

3. Begin rolling the cone
Grasp the upper right edge of the paper and fold left toward the center.
The middle of the wide edge will become the point of the cone.

Mulai gulung cone
Tarik bagian ujung atas kanan kertas dan lipat ke kiri menuju bagian tengah.
Bagian tengah dari ujung akan menjadi ujung cone.

Step 4

4. Continue rolling till the cone is formed
Use a small push pull motion to make the cone the length and width you like.

Terus gulung sampai sampai cone terbentuk
Buat cone panjang dan lebar sesuai keinginan.

5. When you come to the last bit, shift and pull the cone until the opening at the tip is the size you like. This can be adjusted until the opening is as small as a pin whole.


Saat kertas hampir habis, tarik cone sampai pembukaan ujung cone sesuai keinginan. Sesuaikan sampai lubang cone sekecil ujung jarum.

Step 6
6. Tape down the little tail, the 1 1/2 inches left over at the tip.

Beri isolasi ujung cone, sekitar 1 1/2 inch dari ujung.

Step 7
7. Add a small piece of tape around the very tip of the cone, this will hold the teensy, tiny opening in place and prevent any slippage or unwrapping.

Tambahkan isolasi sekitar ujung cone, untuk menahan bergesernya kertas.

Step 8
8. Tape over the seam on the outside using 2 pieces of tape approximately 1 1/2 inches long.
Using a long item such as a chopstick or long pointy scissors, put a piece of tape inside the cone as far down as you can get it, place another piece further up the inside of the cone to secure the inside of the cone and keep it from unrolling as you use it.


Isolasi lapisan luar, gunakan 2 buah isolasi sekitar 1 1/2 inch.
Gunakan benda panjang spt supit atau gunting berujung runcing, utk menempatkan isolasi di bagian dalam cone, tempatkan sedalam mungkin, kemudian tambahkan isolasi lagi di bagian agak atas utk mengamankan bagian lipatan kertas dalam cone dari tergulung ketika digunakan.

9. Your cone is now complete!
You can fill 3-4cones with henna paste if you begin with 20 grams of dry powder.

Cone sudah selesai !
3-4 cone dapat diisi henna paste terbuat dari 20 gram bubuk henna.






Step 10
10. Fill the cone 1/2 to 2/3 rd's of the way with several Tablespoons of henna.


Isi cone 1/2 sampai 2/3 dengan henna paste, bisa gunakan sendok.

Step 11
11. Give the cone one twist just above the paste and seal with a tiny rubber band.

Simpul ujung cone, diatas paste yg diisikan, ikat ujung nya dengan karet gelang kecil.

Step 12
12. If the tip is too small cut a very small sliver off, test the width before cutting again.

Jika ujung cone terlalu kecil, potong sedikit, test apakah sesuai keinginan.

Scoot the rubber band down the length of the cone as you use it to keep the pressure consistent. 

Geser karet gelang ke bawah cone saat digunakan seiring dengan keluarnya paste utk mendapatkan tekanan konsisten.
